I so want to take the kids to some tidal pools. Little micro-oceans you get to peak in on. I loved them at the Nobbies (in Australia) but they don’t really have these on the east coast which is the only ocean they’ve seen.
It’s one of the joys of moving every few years. . . we get to embrace the environment where we live and then move on and try something new.
I loved having the four traditional seasons in Ukraine — and quite franking, I miss that. Yet I know we have a short window here in The Bahamas, and want to take advantage of that as much as we can.
When you are able to go to tidal pools, I recommend reading aloud “Pagoo” and the Burgess Seashore Book.
So happy to see you blogging again.
